To Give or Not to Give
Posted On 01/10/2010 23:40:21

A lot of people are kind and generous to the point of that they are the ones who are taken advantage of. To give or not to give, to some the answer is simple: why not just give as they say it is better to give than to receive but to some they would say teach them to fish rather than give fish.

Both have valiant points, my opinion on that one is that give to those who cannot help themselves. Teach those who can work to find work and enhance their skills in that way they can help themselves and other people as well. According to well known articles and essays, if you teach others how to fish they can eat for the rest of their lives, if you only give others food they will eat only for the day. It is important to enable people to make themselves self-reliant and so that they can pay it forward.

Dont Fix What Is Not Broken
Posted On 11/05/2009 00:40:26

Many times in our lives we try to change things that are perfectly normal. Things that don't need any modification or change but we try we fix it even if it is not broken. We try to make things different, make a working gadget faster, smaller and better. That's good if you work in a research and development lab in a company. But for most of the time we end destroying the things we are trying to improve. We try to make things faster but end up damaging it like for example trying to overclock the CPU of our computer, what happens is the CPU heats up and later on gets damaged because of the heat. That is one of the examples where can put the phrase “Don't fix what ain't broken”.

I have read some articles and some essays about not sweating the small stuff. To learn to be contented with what you have. Based on research papers, most of the time our urge to improve a perfectly working gadget or item is that we are not satisfied with it. If we only learn to count our blessing then we could appreciate more things that we have.

The Will to Win
Posted On 10/09/2009 01:58:15

In any game or showoff, there are winners and losers. What separates the winners from the losers is the attitude they have and the strategy they use in winning a game or showoff. The attitude of a winner is one that see the positive even in the darkest situation. A winner steps up to the plate to face the odds despite what people say or think. He does not let the negative opinions and insults of other people bring him down but rather it enables him and motivates him to be better and to fight harder. There are research papers and custom essays about what it takes to win and how attitude is crucial in winning.

A winner has the will the win despite the adversity and the trails he faces. He continues to fight for what he believes in and tries to achieve the goals and dream he has set. He has the will to win, that motivates him and makes him better. That is a winner.
